What do you offer?
As a goldsmith, I create clean, precise and compelling handcrafted ethical fine jewellery from my Hatton Garden studio in London. One of the first Fairtrade and Fairmined Gold licensees, I aim to combine my values with my background as an architect; responsibly sourced materials, meticulous attention to detail and expert artisanship defines each piece of my jewellery.
Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?
I have been designing and making bespoke wedding and engagement rings for LGBTQ+ community since becoming a Fairtrade and Fairmined Gold licensee in 2011. I provide a welcoming and inclusive experience to help couples create one-of-a-kind pieces that to suit their personality, style and budget.
Allyship
As a cisgender woman, I am constantly trying to educate myself on how to be an effective and compassionate ally. The LGBTQ+ community is underrepresented in the wedding industry, and I am committed to doing my part to correct this imbalance.
I have dedicated my practice to creating a safe space to have open dialogues with my clients, where we can discuss their aspirations for their jewellery. Over the years, many of my LGBTQ+ couples have been referred to me by word of mouth.
I constantly try to stay up-to-date and educate myself on how to be an effective and compassionate ally by following and engaging with LGBTQ+ activists on social media and by reposting/amplifying their messages. I also donate to charities like the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre and Stonewall.
