What do you offer?

Colourful, emotive and inclusive photography, with a sprinkle of fairytale. Bring me all your quirky, weird and wonderful mad photography dreams, I would love to make them a reality.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I want people in the lgbtq+ community to feel safe, included and welcome into everything that involves photography, exactly as they should. I think at the moment the wedding industry sadly lacks true representation of the lgbtq+ community and I would like to be part of the change as I truly believe that queer love needs and deserves to be represented in all its wonderful kaleidoscopic shades. There is really no space in 2023 (or ever, to be honest!) for people to feel excluded, alienated and ignored. And also queers are just the best but you already knew that!

Allyship

I listen to Queer podcasts which have helped me understand a lot more about gender dysphoria, transitioning etc and have shown me a whole new perspective on a lot of issues otherwise not often discussed in mainstream media; I collab with a Queer theatre company (mooncup theatre) and I often photograph events for them; I regularly sign petitions when important decisions have to be made in regards to LGBTQ+ rights, and I donate as much as possible in said petitions; I try to take part as much as possible in charity events that help the community (Terence Higgins recently) I try my best to use inclusive language on my social media and website but it's always a work in progress and I know I'm not perfect. There's a lot more things I would like to do in the future, like participating in big public events and if possible take pictures (Pride events etc), I'm very interested in Queer festivals and would love at some point to photograph events like those, and obviously I will continue to actively promote LGBTQ+ shoots on my platforms, reaching for true representation in its diverse declinations, not just the classic Lesbian couple in a white dress to please the male gaze.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
