What do you offer?

I'm not just a celebrant who will tell your love story, I'm someone you can put your trust in and someone that will believe in you and help you as a couple be heard and understood.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

This last year has been a big journey for me, I have learnt to accept myself for the true person I am and who I always should have been.

I understand the struggles many people go through to be accepted, the challenges that are thrown in our faces, the questions! and the labels!!! I embrace everyone from all walks of life and it is so incredibly important for me to support this beautiful community where you should be free to live your life and be accepted for the amazing human you are! At the end of the day everyone wants to be loved, acknowledged and heard 🥰

Allyship

I am in the process of being a sponsor for Colchester pride after attending last year and always use peoples correct pronouns. I have also reached out to the Outhouse, our local LGBTQ+ charity to see what work they do within our community.

I am also in the process of arranging a stylised photoshoot with a local photographer to promote LGBTQ+ weddings. I recently went to the GLBT historical society in San Francisco to learn more about our history and why the acronym was once this way round.

I also have my pronouns on show, I use the words couple when describing the people I'm working with unless asked otherwise.
