What do you offer?

I’m a wedding photographer for the adventurous and unconventional, I’m not a fan of the formal, look at the camera wedding photos. I love to get my couples moving, dancing and bringing their energy to the best day of their lives.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Being part of a polyamorous relationship has put me very central to an LGBTQ+ relationship, having not grown up as a part of the community myself, being in this relationship has helped me to really see the struggles that people in the community can face. Whether it relates to coming out or discrimination it has shown me that there is still so much work to be done in ensuring everyone who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community feels safe and included in everyday life. This is why from the moment I started my business I ensured that it would always be a safe space for people to truly be themselves and that no couples would be judged based on gender or sexuality.

Allyship

In my work I always aim to keep everything gender neutral, from forms to captions. The wedding industry is still very hetero-focussed even now so I aim to not fall into these long standing habits.

In my daily life the main thing is education, having not experienced much of the LGBTQ+ community growing up I know there is still a lot for me to understand, if there’s something I don’t understand I will take the steps to ensure that I do going forward.
