What do you offer?

I create bespoke wedding stationery based on my own watercolour illustrations. These are personalised to the couple and the people, places and objects that tell their story. I love matching up the little details and getting it just right.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

I am a Queer illustrator, I love working with queer couples to get the little details about their relationship right. So often we are sexualised or forgotten about in heteronormative spaces, I love to create romantic, playful illustrations that represent the couple and the places that are important to them. Everyone should feel comfortable and at ease planning something as exciting as their wedding, I not only 'accept' LGBTQ+ couples but actively celebrate them.

Allyship

I am a Queer person myself, I make an active effort to speak up for my community and explain terms to colleagues. I always use the pronouns that someone has described themselves as.

For a long time I was a listening service volunteer for an LGBTQ+ phone and instant messaging line. I loved giving back to my community and listening to their stories and trying to be a listening ear and a reassuring voice in times of difficulty.

For my Etsy shop I frequently get reviews thanking me for creating the cards/illustrations for Queer couples as they just don't see themselves represented on the high street and these reviews really warm my heart.

My Etsy shop and Instagram are actually almost exclusively LGBTQ+ couples. I intend to continue to create new designs representing as many aspects of our community as possible. As my business grows I want to continue to make my designs as diverse as I can for more people to feel seen and represented.
