Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have experienced discrimination and no one deserves that any day, especially not their wedding day! I want to celebrate all love and provide a service tailored to each individual couple, where they will feel safe and valued. I know the industry can be super heteronormative and not welcoming to couples who don't fit the bride and groom mould, and I want to work with couples to create their dream music for their day without any worry of being judged or discriminated against. I want to embrace and celebrate the diversity and beauty within our community and help to make every couple I work with have the best possible experience for their wedding!

Allyship

Allyship is so important and I actively work to ensure I do all I can to be an ally to the whole community. I ensure my pronouns are on my website, in my work email, on all socials. I actively try to educate myself, reading non-fiction books about the LGBTQ+ community to learn about our history and follow a lot of LGBTQ+ activists to ensure I know what is happening within the community. I also ensure I write to my MP regularly about issues facing our community, and share a lot of content on my socials to try to educate others. I don't shy away from awkward conversations, I will never stop fighting to try and get people to let go of their prejudices.
