Funk & Bloom are not your traditional wedding florist… we are passionate about contemporary design, using unique flower types and vibrant palettes to reflect your own personalities.

With a background in wedding coordination we are experts in helping to transform your floral and styling visions into reality.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

When creating funk & bloom, my mission was to create a brand which was unapologetically loud, bold, and an explosion of colour in a sea of traditional, white, and heteronormative wedding inspiration. I have always considered myself an ally to the community, which in terms of business means creating an inclusive environment where people can be their authentic selves. I hope we can inspire people to go against the grain, creating unique weddings which represent your own personalities - whatever that may be!

Allyship

I pride myself in both everyday life and business, in creating a friendly, open, and welcoming environment where people can be their authentic selves - unapologetically! 

I am visible and vocal in my support for the community. I love listening to podcasts and patreon accounts from people in the community (particularly those of colour) so I can educate myself, as well as understand the struggles of daily life for so many people. This allows me to create safe spaces and educate others - I love nothing more than a good debate!
