What do you offer?

Hello! I am Lizzie, a Scottish wedding and elopement photographer who leans more on the documentary side of photography. I love real emotion, real reactions and real moments. There's no stiff cheesy posing when you hire me – just relaxed moments and good fun hopefully! You can expect lots of candids and plenty big laughs and tears!

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community? 

My favourite thing about being a photographer is celebrating love in all of its forms. To me there is nothing better than photographing people in love and I believe that can be between anyone, no matter their gender or sexuality! I am determined to create a space for all people to feel comfortable, safe, and like they can be authentically themselves.

Allyship

Some things I do to ensure my everyday life reflects my core beliefs as a person and a business are following a lot of activists, educational platforms and leaders in the LGBTQ+ community. It's so important to me to listen to different perspectives, experiences and points of view from a spectrum of backgrounds.

I also make sure that the people I spend time with in the industry and outwith the industry reflect as many backgrounds as possible, so I can be held accountable on a more personal level.
