Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Because everyone in the LGBTQ+ community deserves to be celebrated and treated with love and respect and offered a safe space to truly be there authentic selves.

Allyship

I read up on articles to help improve my understanding and awareness of the areas we as a society still need to improve on to help support the LGBTQ+ community.

Going to pride is amazing but alone isn’t enough, so sharing posts, donating to friends charities, speaking with friends within the community, having a website that’s inclusive and being a good person to good people are some of the things I do to support amazing people.

Helping my brother in his coming out journey, understanding my own bisexuality, teaching my kids to treat every single person with respect. Encouraging and supporting LGBTQ+ owned business by sharing posts etc.

Some things I have implemented into my business;

• Having inclusive wording on my website.

• Posting weddings from couples within the LGBTQ+ community because they’re wonderfully amazing weddings with wonderfully amazing people, not because it ticks a box.

• Sharing LGBTQ+ owned business on my page.

• Highlighting issues and special months for the community to help rally support and be part of the voice.
