What do you offer?

I offer inclusive I dos and ceremonies. Including Weddings,Vow renewals and Naming Ceremonies. The main service I offer is Inclusive I dos to couples and lovers who want to feel supported, not fear about being misgendered and know that their love is not only accepted but celebrated by their celebrant.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ Community?

Although I am a cis woman I am a passionate ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. As the proud mum of Steff and Ells, the dynamic duo behind Rebel Love Club, I'm constantly learning and growing as a student in Queer life.

I support the LGBTQ+ community by using the correct pronouns and not misgendering people, allowing couples to have the ceremony of their dreams, and supporting where family and community may not. I offer to stand by a couples side, be a friend, be adaptable, support ideas, give the space to explore dreams, and help guide them to create the ultimate ceremony that is right for them.

I want couples to feel safe and know there will be no fancy frills or fluffy words, just an honest, beautiful script and ceremony about them and their love.

Allyship

I support my family members and their friends that are all part of the LGBTQ+ community. I have supported family members who have told me their change in pronouns and helped them explain to other family members. I use my pronouns when I introduce myself, I have my pronouns on my work emails and have tried to encourage all my other work colleges to do the same.

At work I have organised talks and educational sessions on Diversity and Inclusions that have been led by Trans people, as well as sessions on the importance of Intersectionality and sessions to help educate my colleagues about being Intersex .

I run a women's support group and have made sure that we make it clear Trans Women and non-binary people are welcome. I follow numerous educators such as Alok Vaid-Menon and Rebel Love Club.

I am constantly learning and asking questions and use and support LGBTQ+ suppliers when I can. I will interrupt a conversations when out or in work that I feel are discriminative or transphobic and try to educate/correct people.

As I am new to the industry, I have been engaging with LGBTQ+ owned businesses and am planning on setting up an LGBTQ+ styled shoot so that I can start to show representaion on my website and social media. I also share across my social media platforms helpful LGBTQ+ advice from other LGBTQ+ platforms to help uplift Queer voices.

The main service I offer is Inclusive I dos to couples and lovers who want to feel supported, not fear about being misgendered and know that their love is not only accepted but celebrated by their celebrant.

don't forget to let me know that you found me on Rebel Love Directory!
