Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community?

Who we are should not be based on our sexual orientation or gender. As an intersectional feminist Celebrant I believe that equality and equity are important for all humans. Yes, it's totally cliché that love is love, but it's true, just the same as humans are humans! Let's love and care and look after one another.

Allyship

I include my pronouns in my social media and use inclusive language for weddings and other ceremonies I do. I listen and learn from family and friends who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and they always let me know they feel safe to be their authentic selves when around me. I am definitely still learning and have enrolled in some courses this year, such as "How to be a great LGBTQ+ Ally"
