You'll be hard pressed to find a wedding venue more flexible and relaxed as us. We promise you a day with all the feels, followed by an epically fun party.

Why do you want to work with the LGBTQ+ community? 

We're in the business of love, and in our eyes, love has no limitations, rights, or wrongs. We embrace every single person that walks through our Shack doors and encourage all couples to be true to who they are throughout the process.

Reaching a diverse audience is extremely important to us, on both a business and personal level. LGBTQ+ decision-making members of management and couple facing co-ordinators and staff form a large part of the team so we have personal experience where it matters.

Allyship

We have hosted LGBTQ+ educational events by industry experts. We provided sound equipment for the first Pride in Hay-on-Wye and have reached out to local Pride organisations to offer our venue free of charge for events.

We have inclusivity strategies in place for 2024 to make sure we are focused on using correct language and pronouns throughout the marketing, booking, planning, and event stages.
